“Let My Unborn Daughter Live”

August 8th, 2011

The Mime was staged during two workshops in February 2011, on Awareness on PC-PNDT Act under the Project SHRINKHALA supported by MKP (Girls) College, Dehradun and Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare of Government of Uttarakhand, India. Performed at the beginning of the workshops, the mime show served to introduce the main theme of the workshops – female foeticide. For all the girls it was a first time performance. We are grateful to students of Khalsa College, Patiala for permitting us to use their original concept, choreography and music. We are also indebted to You Tube for making this possible.
