Interested in joining or becoming part of the Commonwealth Youth Programme?
Here’s a few ways you can get involved:

Young Professionals Programme:
The Young Professionals Programme is a starting point for an exciting placement at the Commonwealth Secretariat and is designed to attract outstanding, motivated young individuals from around the Commonwealth who have demonstrated a commitment to development,  academic success, professional achievement and leadership potential.

Commonwealth Youth Programme Internship Programme:
The CYP Internship Programme provides students and others with an opportunity to learn about CYP and to contribute to the Secretariat’s work.

Commonwealth Volunteer Programme:
CYP will spearhead a Youth Volunteer Programme which will engage youth volunteers for a maximum of three months and advocate for youth volunteerism in the Commonwealth – mobilising young people as volunteers and working in collaboration with UN Volunteers (UNV).

Commonwealth Students Movement:
CYP contributes to the re-activation of democratic students movements by coordinating secondary and tertiary student representatives and involving them in decision-making about education policies.

Commonwealth Youth Leadership Programme:
CYP works to create a network of senior youth leaders/experts in CYP youth participation programmes to be mentors, trainers and/or facilitators in development programming. Current’sources’ for this network include Youth Trained in Diploma; IAA Gold Award winners; past Regional Youth Caucus members and successful youth entrepreneurs.

Jubilee Time Capsule

The Royal Commonwealth Society is assembling the world’s biggest online time capsule that will cover each day of the last 60 years of the association. This is a people’s history from all over the Commonwealth. Open to people of all ages, the RCS wants to hear from you – your stories, videos, photos, drawings, music – as to what was important to you, your family or your country in the last 60 years.
